Physical description

poplar top and bottom; pine sides; sides are beaded ceiling panels (type of wood made in 1870s-1880s); mitered corners; 1/4" wood; 2 small metal pieces hammered into fretboard in front of first fret; sound holes are beveled from the inside; 2 soundholes are elongated; 15 frets (1/2" long staples); 6th fret has been filed off and moved forward; numbers appear to have been penciled in on fretboard
