[Giles County Dulcimer #5]

Description

This instrument belonged to the current owner's mother, Ella Whett Faulkenberry (maiden name), b. 1892, from Lincoln County, Tennessee. She had learned to play when she was very young, playing with a noter stick, or sometimes a clothes pin, and with the fingers of her right hand. She played mostly church songs, and sang with herself.
